KS Big Bow is a hard white winter wheat with medium height and medium maturity. It is suitable for central high plains with high yield potential, good drought tolerance, and good disease resistance. It has consistently out-yielded Joe, the dominant white wheat variety in the region for several years.

Compared to Joe, KS Big Bow has improved yield, drought tolerance, straw strength, sprouting tolerance, better baking quality. KS Big Bow also has WSMV resistance, stripe and stem rust resistance similar to Joe.
