Wheatridge Farms LTD was established in 1997 and continues the business of certified seed production, which began in 1989 by the Sieck Family.  Our family takes pride in being good stewards of the land while farming and ranching in Sherman County Kansas, 5 miles NE of Edson Kansas.  Our family history starts in the early 1920's when William (Bill) Sieck settled after working in the area for several years on a wheat harvest crew. After working in the area for a few years he started to lease ground and later purchased the homeplace. He operated with his wife Dora and family until he turned over operations to Melvin and Marsha Sieck in the early 70's. In 2003 Wheatridge Farms LTD added seed conditioning, when a state of the art seed house was constructed by Mike and Mark Sieck.  It has been updated over the years to add storage and more efficient equipment. Seed treating services have been made available in the last few years, with a portable seed treating trailer that has 3 product compatibility. We can treat direct from bin, or truck to truck after conditioning. High quality wheat production in Northwest Kansas has been a long tradition for the Sieck Family, that legacy continues today.  Partnerships with Several of the top Wheat Breeding Companies and Universities have enabled us to deliver the most relevant and adapted new variety releases to our customers that will increase their profitability on their farms.
